Aimee Teegarden (born October 10, 1989 (citation needed]), is an American model and actress. She played Julie Taylor in the NBC drama Friday Night Lights (2006-2011). In 2014, Teegarden starred as Emery Whitehill in The CW's short-lived science fiction romantic drama Star-Crossed.Teegarden was born and raised in Downey, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Teegarden completed high school through independent study at sixteen. She has modelled for commercials such as Alltel, Hollister and Old Navy. She has appeared on a variety of television appearances such as Cold Case, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana.Teegarden was cast in the NBC drama Friday Night Lights, opposite Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, in the role of Julie Taylor, the elder daughter of Eric Taylor (Chandler), the head football coach at the high school. coach and Tami Taylor (Britton), an assistant guidance counselor at a high school.
